About Me

I'm a twenty-something Graduate of NSCAD University, with a degree in Art History who loves colour, pattern, texture and writing. So, naturally, a blog about furniture flipping is meant to be! What started out as a hobby, is quickly becoming consumed with my lifelong love of art.

Oliver Treasures was created in May of 2012 after a family trip to Mexico's Mayan Riviera. There, I witnessed Mexico's character, colour and it inspired me to re-create these designs back home. I love everything DIY and anything I can change to make unique. Furniture flipping has definitely grown into a hobby of mine, and something I want to eventually extend into my career. My goal is to someday own my own business focused on interior design and décor, and have a place where all my creativity can be put on display. On top of that, the other love of my life, writing, is something I managed to acquire while pursuing my BFA degree in Art History. Writing is absolutely another field of creativity I want to explore.

Oliver Treasures was named after my best bud, Oliver...
